Alpha Omega Toronto Chapter


Alpha Omega is the oldest international dental organization and was founded in Baltimore, Maryland in 1907 by a group of dental students originally to fight discrimination in dental schools. Today, with our headquarters relocated to Rockville, MD, it is primarily an educational and philanthropic organization. There are chapters and members in cities and dental schools in the United States, Canada, South America, Europe, Israel, South Africa and Australia/New Zealand. Alpha Omega represents about 6,000 active, not active, and retired dentists as well as dental students worldwide.

NOMINATE a member for a local or International award →

To nominate a member who you feel merits either a Toronto Chapter Award OR an International Award, these are two separate categories, please send a cover letter to Dr. Marvin Obar with a resume for the member you are nominating. In your cover letter please specify if it is for a local or international award and which award. The criteria that need to be met to be nominated for each award can be found on the attached form here.
